This mammoth 46-inch Full HD TV from Samsung displays visually stunning pictures set within an equally beautiful, yet minimalistic frame.

It will bring out the best of 1080p HD movies with its 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 100Hz Motion Plus engine which gives smoother motion. The qualities of the Series 8 are not limited to its HDTV display prowess but also in its in-built content. A content library of fitness advice/regime, cooking recipe, children stories and picture gallery are pre-loaded into the HDTV for a more interactive experience. Extra content can be downloaded into a USB flashdrive from Samsung’s website and then plugged into the HDTV. If that is not enough, there is InfoLive function that delivers RSS feeds from Yahoo!, weather reports and even stock information to the screen non-intrusively while you are watching your favourite programmes.

Verdict
The iDTV Series 8 is more than just a beautiful screen, it has brilliant features that will change the way you interact with a TV.

FEATURES
01 Well-connected
This HDTV has four HDMI ports, which means you can have a Blu-Ray player and a game console always connected to it. That leaves two more HDMI ports to boot.

02 Instant action
There are three entertainment mode presets for sports, movies and game. The changes are not limited to visuals as even the HDTV’s audio settings will be tuned for maximum pleasure.

03 WISELINK Pro
A USB port allows you to use the TV to display digital videos, pictures, text and also play music files from a flashdrive. This is perfect for show-and-tell like showing off your family vacation photos.
