The evolution of fun

This isn’t your typical portable MP3 player. Engineers at Samsung must have taken a vacation, had fun, then took some of that fun and put them into their new YP-P3 device. An upgrade to their EmoTure touch user interface, complete with haptic feedback, adds a third-dimension to how the YP-P3 works for you. The new touch interface now functions like a scrapbook. You can plaster cool useful, beautifully animated widgets like calendar, memo, clock, gallery, world time or useless but fun ones like a crumbling gingerbread man, hovering butterfly or a sleep cat on its screen. Adding or removing widgets just takes dragging them from a menu and dropping them onto the screen. It only takes simple, intuitive touches to activate applications. Swipe your finger across a menu screen, and it slides to the next set of menus, swipe it on the music playback screen and it plays the next song in the playlist. THE YP-P3 PLAYS...
Music
Really well. Sound quality is amazing even with its bundled oversized earphones. Music playlists can be easily organised by touches. A VibeWoofer feature can be turned on which vibrates the device in sync with playing bass.

Videos
Videos will be played in wide-screen format and the YP-P3’s 3-inch screen gives ample viewing area. Video quality is sharp and smooth.

Games
Interactive touch games aren’t new, but that doesn’t mean that they are any less fun. The YP-P3 has seven pre-installed and they really good time sinks.

Pictures
You can store pictures in the device but that’s so yesteryear. These pictures can be in a slideshow, ho-hum. The slideshow can be an automated animated one on the home screen display - that’s brilliant!
