Sony’s DSC-T700 is the result of what happens when you inject fun into a camera.

It takes great pictures helped by a plethora of technology like Super SteadyShot optical image stabilisation, Face Detection, Smile Shutter and intelligent scene recognition. The camera’s giant 3.5-inch touchscreen is a boon for keeping photo subjects sharp as one can just jab at the screen to set the focus area. There is 4GB of internal memory, which can store plenty of high-quality 10 megapixel pictures. The T700 also has powerful picture showcasing features with slideshows, transitions and even music for added drama to show-and-tells.

Verdict
It’s point-and-shoot, show-and-tell approach screams fun!

FEATURES
01 Picture Quality
In good lighting, pictures will come up nice, sharp and natural. ISO settings should be kept as low as possible though as there are visible
noise at ISO400 and above.

02 Speed
For its class, the T700 is fast for start-up and shot-to-shot. Classic candid shots made easier.

03 Storage
4GB internal memory is plenty of space, even for 10-megapixel shots. That space can be used as a picture repository as the camera has neat picture folder housekeeping and advanced sorting features. You can even browse by face or kids!

Since it’s touchscreen, one could scribble or tag pictures on the camera – a feature made even better because of the inclusion of a new PMB software. The software allows makes it easy to upload pictures and videos to social networking sites like YouTube.
