Looking for something to do this weekend? Well, if you're a mad movie fan like myself, there's the Alliance/Innoform DVD sale over the entire long weekend in Ubi. All their DVDs are going at up to 90% off, so my wife and I are definitely heading in with our wallets. Maybe get some Korean shows as Christmas presents for our moms.

After that we'll head to Ben & Jerry's Chunk Fest, happening tomorrow between 2-11pm at Fort Canning Green. Live music and ice-cream... SWEET! Hopefully it doesn't rain out though... Anyway, click on for more details.

Hello Kitty PancakesPosted by Drew in Miscellaneous, Food and Dining |
|

This morning I woke up to a pleasant surprise. My darling wife had gotten up early to cook me up some Hello Kitty's for me to eat. No, she's not a chef from Guangdong and "eating Hello Kitty" is not a euphemism for bedroom activities; she made some pancakes using a special Hello Kitty pancake pan that my sister got us as a wedding present. The Hello Kitty pancake pan is simply just a small pan shaped like Hello Kitty, and judging from the picture above, you should get a pancake that looks identical to Hello Kitty, with the dark brown spots in all the right places.

Are you up for some Nanxiang Xiaolongbao?Posted by Sabrina in News, Food and Dining |
|
Although Singapore is one of the smallest nation in Southeast Asia, we are known for our diversity and cultural diffusion, especially in terms of cuisine.
Replicating the actual menu items, and having chefs heading the kitchen coming from Nanxiang in Shanghai, the famous Shanghai eatery, the original Nanxiang Xiaolongbao has made its way to our doorstep.
