The geeks and nerds of old wore thick glasses, have greasy hair, and hide in their rooms building computers to take over the world. Fast forward to 2009, the Fastest Geek Competition, held as part of World Cyber Games. Here, you will get to see the cool side of our local geekdom.

Predominately male, and mostly in their early to mid-20’s, they are tanned (NS lah), healthy, well-educated, and incredibly nimble with their fingers. And they gather from all corners of the island to compete in the Fastest Geek Competition, held tomorrow at Suntec City.
