Form takes a backseat for sheer functionality on this mighty mobile snapper. It has a 5-megapixel camera, bright xenon flash, auto-focus, multiple shot modes and 3x optical zoom. There s 150MB built in memory, but if that s not enough, it can be expanded by using microSD memory cards. The mirror-finish façade adds a touch of class, subtly hiding a 2.4-inch screen that’s brilliant to look at when active. Having a big screen but small text on it is as silly as riding a bronco while wearing PVC pants, and Samsung is having none of that. You can easily enlarge the text of your SMS messages with single button presses so it’s really easy on the eye, both the outside and inside.

Pictures taken in bright daylight look brilliant and incredibly sharp, but sadly, the same can’t be said for shots taken in low-lighting conditions.
Web browsing
You get the same full HTML web-browsing experience as you would have on your PC desktop albeit on a smaller screen with more scrolling required. There’s no WiFi support, but there’s 3G, HSDPA and EDGE support for mobile broadband.
Music playback
Really loud stereo speakers are found on the top-end of the phone, and the music player is really easy to use and manage. The drawback is that there’s no 3.5mm earphone jack and you’re pretty much stuck with Samsung’s proprietary-jack stereo earphones.
