Weighing at a portable 1.8kg, the MSI PR200 YA Edition Colourful Series will certainly attract more ladies' attention than men's. It has a 12-inch LCD display with Amazing Crystal Vision (ACV) and supports resolutions of up to 1280x800. A 1.3-megapixel digital camera is placed above the display for users to have video conferencing, while below it are the built-in speakers, power and quick launch buttons, keyboard and touchpad. A fingerprint reader is sandwiched in between the left and right mouse buttons and allows you to login to your Windows OS through a simple swipe of your finger.

The inclusion of an HDMI connector is a great feature as it allows you to easily output your notebook to your LCD TV in crystal clear format. WiFi connectivity of this machine is based on 802.11n technology, which is currently the fastest available.

Our review unit is equipped with a 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB DDR2-667 memory, 160GB hard disk and a DVD Super Multi drive for reading DVD discs.

To summarise, the PR200 may not be the best performing 12-inch notebook PC in the market, but daily applications will run just fine on it. Of course, there are also wasabi green and denim blue versions in case pink doesn't click with you. Retailing at an attractive SGD1,499, the PR200 is a good buy.
