![]() The age where new clothes get damaged by rough handling of washing machines may be over with the Diamond Drum technology. Smaller water holes that are recessed within diamond-shaped depression helps prevent fabric from getting snagged in holes. What more, Samsung's Silver-Nano technology is capable of 99.% sterilisation without using hot water. Then there's the Silver Wash feature, where it eradicates bacteria and mould from inside the washer and even adds a coat of protection that inhibits the growth of germs for a month during final rinse cycles. The new range of washing machines are divided into two categories - front loading and top loading. Front load: WD8122 (pictured above) Painted in black to match the modern home, the WD8122 uses the Vibration Reduction Technology and Direct Drive Inverter Motor to make washing a quiet experience. Topping it off is an Air Wash System that uses hot air to eliminate smells, microscopic allergens, bacteria, and microbes on fabrics. It retails for S$2,999. Top load: WA11VP and WA12VP Made for heavy duty washing ideal for families, this range of washing machines are strengthened with a new tempered glass top cover. Fabrics in the wash will be treated to a Double Storm System that uses multi-dimensional water currents that reduces tangle. It also uses 20% less water with its Mist Shower function that dissolves laundry detergents. The top load washing machines 6.5kg, 7.5kg, 8kg, 9kg and 10kg versions. The 9kg WA11VP retails for S$749 while the 10kg WA12VP retails for S$849. Trackback(0)
