The KS20 takes a page off the successful Prada phone, and while it doesn’t have a coveted Prada logo, it makes up for it with a joystick. It’s not beauty without brains – the KS20 has HSDPA (3.5G) high-speed mobile broadband for fast internet surfing, WiFi, Push Email and MS Office suite. There’s also a pretty smart LG-only PS Note application that recognises scribbles with its predictive text feature. The only tarnish is that its retractable stylus gets stuck sometimes when it’s pulled out from hiding. Picture a damsel wresting a bull. It just doesn’t fit.
FEATURES
See it all
Nothing beats having a 2.8-inch touchscreen that dominates the phone. It’s huge, shows brilliant colours and is polished shiny. The touchscreen sensitivity is perfect.
Di screet controls
Although it’s touchscreen, there’s a four-way joystick, flanked by call buttons that illuminate when required. Sweet!
camera (BACK)
It’s not groundbreaking, but picture quality from the 2-megapixel camera is decent. There’s also a neat flash unit that’s great for close-up shots.
Classy interface
Stylish products aren’t complete without finesse and LG has customised the user interface, making it classy and nothing like the usual Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional interface.
