The original Eee PC was an instant hit when it came out; combining portability and an easy interface that anybody could click with. If there was one concern with the original Eee, then it?ˉs that it was too small and you had to scroll sideways to read most web pages. That problem has now been solved with the Eee 900?ˉs new 8.9?± screen, capable of higher resolutions so you don?ˉt have to scroll sideways anymore. FingerGlide technology has also been incorporated to make your navigation even easier. By using two fingers on the touch pad, you can zoom into pics, scroll around, and even bring up a magnifying glass to read those tiny fonts. Most importantly, there?ˉs now an option to get a Windows XP version of the Eee for PC veterans who are too used to the XP interface. Surprisingly, XP boots up really quickly on the Eee, though not as quickly as the Linux version of the Eee 900. If there?ˉs a problem with the Eee, it?ˉs that the keyboard is still a bit small, and touch-typists will have problems with the tiny keys.
