Creative gathered us media at their headquarters yesterday for a very special announcement – the launch of the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook Sound Card, Wireless Receiver and the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! These new gizmos from Creative are sure to give you the music sound quality possible, and will bring your music experience to a whole new level.

The Wireless Receiver that comes with the Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook Sound Card

The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook Sound Card and Wireless Receiver is a nifty little gizmo that frees you from connecting your notebook to speakers whenever you want to play your music, a game or watch a movie. All you have to do is connect your speakers to the Wireless Receiver, pop the Sound Card into your notebook and hey presto – you can play your music anywhere in the house without all the fuss of wires. You can place up to four speaker systems with the Wireless Receivers, which allows you to play music practically anywhere at home depending on where the speakers are. The Sound Card also comes with built-in X-Fi technology that restores all the highs and lows of your music that is usually lost when it is compressed, giving you only the best quality music playback. The Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook Sound Card and Wireless Receiver will be available here at the end of October, and will retail for SGD269 altogther.

The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go!

Also launched today was the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go!, which is perfect for those who like to listen to music or play games on the go. It has Headphone Surround, which gives you a better audio experience when you use headphones. If you like to play games, the X-Fi Go! makes every gunshot and slash so realistic, you would think you’re actually in the game! The Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! also looks super stylish and has 1GB of flash memory, so there’s no need for an installation CD – it’s all in already. There is also the very cool Voice Morphing technology as well, which allows you to change the way you sound. You can choose to sound like the opposite gender, or even an alien or an orc! Once again, like the Notebook Sound Card, the X-Fi Go! also has built-in X-Fi technology that will improve audio quality greatly. The Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! is available now at SGD79.
