The World Cyber Games National Finals is over and we have our Singapore champions! Read on for the pictures of the champions and prize presentation ceremonies.

As you all know (or should know!), the World Cyber Games Asian Championship is happening right here at Suntec Convention Hall till 10 August. So today Samsung invited us over there for the launch of two very special products - the new Samsung T-Series LCD monitors which are perfect for gaming, and the Samsung Innov8 - the first phone in the market with an eight mega-pixel camera!

 

WCG 2008 isn't just about gaming - you can win prizes there just by dressing up as your favourite game/TV/movie character. Local movie fan club Movie Mania is hosting CosCon @ WCG, where participants can win almost SGD2000 worth of prizes. So dress up and turn up tomorrow at WCG, or don't dress up and turn up anyway to see the fun!

It's the annual World Cyber Games championships again and I was lucky enough to be present at the official launch for the four-day event. There were various racing simulations and PC and console game stations around in the convention hall for members of the public to try it out. The much awaited World Cyber Games Singapore National Finals and WCG 2008 Asian Championship is back! Starting from 7 to 10 August 2008, it is held at the Suntec Convention Centre. Singapore's finest and also the region's top gamers will be battling it out during the gruelling four days amidst an exhibition venue that has a racing theme twist.
