Avid photographers interested in landscape photography can look forward to a visit from Taiwanese photographer Timothy Huang, who will be flying down to Singapore, courtesy of Epson, to share his expertise on professional photography with a traditional camera (he uses an Alpa) and digital altering. At the same time, visitors and guests can also view his beautiful works on natural scenery, which he shot during his travels over the years. The exhibition will take place from Nov 6th to 30th at Page One VivoCity. His talk will commence on the 7th Nov, Friday, at 6.30pm. Blogging, a full-time job?

Most if not all that goes online has a blog these days, and these people that own one can consider themselve as a blogger already. But out of the many bloggers out there, it seems only a small fraction generates enough revenue to consider this as a full-time occupation.

Google DevFest, a one-day technical workshop for developers to learn how to create OpenSocial applications for eXo Platform, Friendster, hi5 and iGoogle platforms, was held for the the very first time in Singapore, welcoming over 400 Singaporean and Malaysian developers.

In conjunction with this event, Google is organising an OpenSocial Gadget Contest for local developers to use their coding skills and creativity to build OpenSocial applications.
