China finally makes its own

Being known for the copy cat syndrome, China has finally made a debut by creating a cool watch phone, dubbed as the G108 Watch Phone. It is working on a GSM QuadBand and features a 1.3 MP camera, media player, Bluetooth and USB support. Although it looks pretty small and weighs 65 grams, this baby even supports microSD card slot on top of its 512kb in-built memory.

A smartphone that flips at your fingertips

ASUS has released a new smartphone that features a QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6 and 3.5G connectivity. The M930 phone features a free-stop flipping hinge that reveals a comprehensive multimedia interface when flipped open, and a collapses into a cellular when closed.
 
This allows the phone to host an external 2” screen as well as an internal 2.6” wide screen. It also has an embedded webcam, and support for GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0.
 
The phone is available from end April at an undisclosed price.

Playboy empire extends to the tech market

Hugh Hefner is probably laughing on the way to the bank since Alcatel has just launched a new "Playboy" phone, manufactured for distributor Cellatel that is available in silver, pink or gold. This phone has a 1.3 MP camera and a video recorder as well as "customized Playboy software" including wallpapers and ring tones. The Playboy Phone went through a sexy branding during the CTIA 2008 show with sexy models and Playboy Bunnies prancing around in a fashion show.
