Green phones debut at Olympics

It is perhaps timely that Samsung decided to showcase their new environmentally friendly mobile phones in Beijing at the Olympic Rendezvous @ Samsung. And what do you know? Two out of three phones are green in colour too! They include the Samsung E200 Eco (above), the Samsung W510 and the Samsung F268. The slim bar E200 and W510 has bio-plastic materials, and the Samsung F268 is Samsung’s first Brominated Flame Retardant (BFR)/PVC free phone.

The iPhone Trooper dance

Say Supernova and be rewarded with four

Nokia releases a great number of phones every month or so. In order not to confuse you, we will focus on only one (of four) this season - the Nokia 7610 Supernova from the new Supernova range. With Xpress-On covers such as “bright lilac” and “steel blue”, the phone includes a 3.2-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, instant messaging and TV-out for images. It also has FM-radio, an MP3 player, and a dedicated music key. The phone is available from Q3 2008 along with equally sparkly Supernova phones 7510 (available Q4), 7310 (available now) and 7210.
