It’s a wrap at the 4th annual Digital Imaging Competition for PC Magazine Singapore, when judging finally ended at the main National Library today. Gracing the event were judges Mr Kenji Shindo, Director, Multimedia Business Unit, from NEC Asia, Ms Corrine Ong, Marketing Manager from Konica Minolta, Ms Lim Ping Ping, Marketing Specialist from Linksys, and PC Magazine editor Wilfred Lim. There are three categories for the competition this year – School, Public, and Public Skin –, although a few school students also participated in the public categories. The judging competition, which took place over two hours today was met with great anticipation from the SP horde, and they were not disappointed, for first year Digital Media student Ng Cheong Ghim got to take home $4,000 cash and a NEC LCD 17-inch Monitor and a Linksys Wireless-N Router for winning the first prize in two categories, School and Skin.
