Well, it's that time of the year again when F1 fever hits the city and the Motor Show is held at the same time. Well, technically this is the first time it's ever happened, but it feels like an annual event already.

 

The world's first Formula One night race is fast approaching and have you ever wondered what will you be doing when the historic event takes place? Well, whether you're watching the race or not, there are plenty of parties, performances and activities lined up during this weekend. Carl Cox will be spinning at the Padang, raggae stars the Wailers will be here, Singapore's own Dim Sum Dollies will entertain audiences with their comedy fare and lots more!

As part of Intel's promotional campaign that was organised in conjunction with the inaugural F1 race in Singapore later this week, the Intel Extreme 45 Rally showcased the extreme technology Intel uses to allow members of the public to try their hands out at the F1 race simulator. PC Magazine Singapore's Fastest Geek Competition which was held last Saturday saw the contestants working hard against time ... check out the videos to see the speed and skills of the competitors as well as how they multi-tasked!

Earlier today at VivoCity saw three-time 'Fastest Geek' champion Yeo Kee Yong reclaimed his title in a tightly fought contest in record time, 1min 31sec. That is all he took to assemble a fully working PC. Find out more ...
