25 November 2008 – it’s the date many Guns N’ Roses fans have been waiting for a very long time. The occasion? None other than the release of "Chinese Democracy" – Guns N’ Roses’ new album! Frontman Axl Rose has been working on this new album since their last release “The Spaghetti Incident?” in 1993. That’s a total of 14 whopping years! If you can’t wait till then to get an earshot of the album, you can get a preview of it in the upcoming video game Rock Band 2 which features the song "Shacklers Revenge". You can also listen to "If the World" during the closing credits of Leonardo DiCaprio’s new film "Body of Lies".

Bride Wars teaser

Since I'm about to head off for my wedding break, I thought I'd leave you guys with a teaser poster of Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway in the upcoming movie Bride Wars, where they play best friends who turn against one another when they both find out that they're getting married on the same day.

I had a similar situation when I found out that my wedding clashed with the launch of Gears of Wars 2, but luckily Microsoft decided to push the launch date to November, and my bride-to-be didn't leave me in the end.

The first poster for the upcoming Street Fighter movie is out, and it's... well... in Japanese. Or at least I think it's Japanese. If I could read Japanese, I would definitely already have translated the poster for you guys. Unless you can read Japanese, at which point my translation would be redundant. If you can, get more info at this Japanese link.

Anyway, here's Kristin "Smallville's ball of Emo-ness" Kreuk as Chun Li.

Information technology (IT) will just remain as a big word if it’s not applied. That’s why the folks at HP have come up with this novel idea – the HP Total Care. It’s a 360-degree approach to personalising every stage of an IT system’s lifecycle. They have divided it to four segments, Choose, Use, Protect and Transition.

If your laptop is running out of some much needed data storage, you might want to take a peek at Kingston’s DataTraveler USB drive. With a generous 32GB of space, its pretty decent enough, especially if you’re using a laptop with limited storage like the Eee PC. And with its bright orange casing, it is definitely one snazzy gizmo!  The Kingston DataTraveler 150 is currently unavailable here in Singapore, but we hope to see it reach our shores soon!
